Vented Gas Stove FAQ's, Help, and Tutorials
We carry Heat&Glo, Koxy Heat, Quadrafire, and White Mountain Hearth Vented Gas Stoves
Vented Gas Stoves are Free-Standing gas-burning appliances which burn either natural gas or propane. These units have very similar features to Vent-Free Gas Stoves, aesthetically, and Vented Gas Inserts, as they require piping up the wall and a hole in the wall to vent and the flame is sealed being glass. These appliances are vented and sealed so there is no concern for a draft or sooting. The venting is fairly simple and requires no chimney or preexisting venting.
Vented Gas Stoves can have a fan to assist with heating (convection) and will warm a room with radiant heat. They also can have a remote to control the unit.
As with many heating appliances, you should have a safety check and cleaning done each year to ensure safe use.
